One day on the water, a lifetime of impact. The Hannig Cup brings together seasoned skippers and first-time crew for a day of spirited racing on San Francisco Bay — followed by christening, music, and the Summer of Love charity dinner ashore.

Yacht racing begins on San Francisco Bay (1300 h).

4:30 PM

Boat Christening

Join us dockside for the christening ceremony as Ted christens his new boat “Sailavi” with Winston Bumpus officiating and a representative of Yacht Club de France flying in with a bottle of French champagne to toast Neptune and the vessel. Ted will supply champagne for a toast by those attending..

5:00–10:00 PM

Dinner & Live Music

A delicious buffet dinner and dessert served with the warmth of a community that's been gathering for twenty years. — Live music with an awesome band - and dancing into the night — get your groove on for a far out experience- hippie / 70’s attire and colors in the spirit of Summer of Love encouraged.
